Recently, a mining company approached us with a specific request: a bucket for the KOMATSU PC3400capable of withstanding extreme working conditions. This is a rare excavator with only a few units operating worldwide—the majority of which are part of our client’s fleet at a coal mine in Southeast Asia.
To meet this challenge, we engineered a19 m³ backhoe bucket. Our engineering team traveled directly to the client’s site to conduct precise measurements and assess the operating environment firsthand, ensuring a perfectly tailored design. For superior penetration and durability in harsh quarry conditions, the bucket was equipped with a VBL (Canada) GETs.
The bucket is already in operation, and the client is highly satisfied, and has plans to outfit their entire KOMATSU PC3400 fleet with our equipment.
